When I seek help for my children, my first choice is always Dr. Markova

Dr. Markova and I met through work, but the moment I saw her I already knew that there would be much more than that.
We met back in 2016 at a group meeting, she was at the other end of the table, we just shook hands and exchanged a few words, and that was quite enough – both she and I knew we were of the same creed.
In my professional and personal life, I try to look for people with similar life views on the world to mine, and Gergana Markova is one of those few. She does not stop developing, learning and working on her personal development. She is not afraid to look at herself and look for her mistakes in order to learn from them. She is not afraid to tell you the truth and what she thinks in
her eyes.
Professionally, it is more than a pleasure to work with her, hours of work pass like minutes and are still not enough.
Everything is light and pleasant with her. If I am looking for help for my children, my first choice is always Dr.
Markova.
And not to make it sound like she’s perfect, there are no such people she’s perfect just the way she is and nothing less, and
I’ll always be there to help her. Thank you, Gerry for having the good fortune to share our path!
PS For those who do not know me, I am Nadezhda Peychevska – early childhood development specialist, a teacher –
Chemistry and Informatics, teacher by recognition, distributor of RMTI for Bulgaria and most importantly a mother of two
children. I have been involved in prevention for 6 years with therapy for children since 4. We have participated in joint
trainings with Dr. Markova of RMTI, Dr. Melilo, etc.

My name is Marina and I have been part of Dr. Gergana Markova’s team since 2015. Today I would like to tell a little more about what it means to me to be part of this team.
I first met Gerry in the spring of 2015 when I was pregnant with my first son. The topic of our conversation was business, since at that time she was starting her first Early Childhood Development Academy in Stara Zagora, and I was looking for a job with my specialisation after parental leave.
As a young person who had just graduated in psychology and had worked for a while in a completely different field, I had some ideas and dreams of what I wanted to do and how, but then such work simply did not exist, at least not in my town.
I wanted to work with young children and their parents and in the field of prevention. At that time, this topic was still new to our society. And it was at that first meeting with Gergana that I realized that I was in the right place!
She told me about her plans, ideas, and projects and how I can be a part of them.

Months of getting to know each other, thinking, and little by little, following my pace, she involved me in the activities of the Academy, the other projects, and here I am today, more sure than ever that I am on the right path with the right people!
Because to be part of Gerry’s team is to have another family – one in which I am accepted, valued, loved, meaningful and valuable and to my great surprise – quite brave.

This is Gerry – a person who accepts others as the are. This is Gerry – first and foremost, a person who accepts. She is a visionary who knows where she wants to go, but she doesn’t want to be alone on the way, and when she finds her people, she protects, guides, waits and nudges all at the same time.
For me, she is a friend, a specialist, a mentor, a teacher, and she is by my side in all these roles. She sees the potential behind the uncertainty, the ability behind the mistake, the drive behind the worry. When the other person is willing and ready to work, change and upgrade and trusts her professionalism, together the two can do wonders!
This is what it means for me to be part of Dr. Gergana Markova’s team – I have another family with whom I can share both successes and worries, learn, build myself, dream, create, fly!
I am a part of something bigger that brings change!

Dear Gerry, don’t stop creating new ways in child education and training, be even more daring to unfold the potential of your methods and persistently ignite your colleagues! Pass it on!

I got to know Dr. Gergana Markova first as a person and then as a specialist. We attended a personal development course together 6 years ago, and since then I never cease to admire her dedication to the process of being a better person, mother and professional. I am always extremely pleased to communicate with her, as she speaks very beautifully, precisely and competently. It has a strong charisma and a very calming effect.
Our third son is currently attending Bobche Topche nursery school, which she founded. He was 1 year 5 months of age when he started and he passed the adaptation period with pleasure. As a very experienced mother, I can say that in addition to taking care of our children with a lot of love and calmness, they raise them to be wholesme little individuals. They have psychomotor and psychodrama classes. Our 3-year-old son distinguishes all the emotions that are raging in him and, unlike his siblings, he manages to talk and deal with them very descriptively. Thanks to Gerry, I found out how much more important at this age is to develop children’s emotional intelligence than English and Maths (that time will come). Thanks to her, I fully realized that our children are our mirror, that calm parents raise calm children. She herself is a visionary and innovative director.

Child Whisperer

I met Dr. Markova in 2015, when she was on a family vacation with her child and husband, and I had wonderful observations of the way she raises her child and her understanding and calmness.
In 2019 I had to resort to her help as I had a number of problems with the father of my children and this greatly reflected on my son’s development. He had uncontrollable fits of emotion and aggression that I didn’t know how to deal with. We went to the children’s center where Mrs. Markova works. A wonderful place created entirely for children and their needs. She was waiting for us smiling and calm. We went to one of the rooms in the center, in which the child felt wonderful and after playing and interacting with him, she did wonders. Her conversation and interaction with my son put him at ease and gave me a new perspective on the situation. It was extremely enriching for all of us. Even my husband started calling her “The Child whisperer’ after we met, and in a subsequent situation when my son didn’t feel understood again,
The advice and the right approach in this case helped me realize a lot about parenting.

Hello, my name is Donika Angelova-Popova and I met Dr. Markova via a friend a little over a year ago. Our older son had difficulties in his development, to
overcome which until this moment (3-4 years of age) we had not found the right or more like any, support. Dr. Markova turned out to be the expert for us!
From our first session onwards, when she assessed our son’s condition, I felt competency,, heartfelt care and respect. Dear Gerry, I have always said that you are our fairy godmother – always helping, loving, accepting us with all our insecurities and failures. You have been with us through all the stages of growing up so far. You supported me and gave me the courage to move forward at a very difficult time in my life. It helped me understand that I am connected to the child and that his behavior depends on my example, but also that even if I am not perfect, for him I will always be Mom. You showed me how to talk to him, how to listen and understand him and treat him as a person. When it was time to join the nursery, you taught us how to say Goodbye and Hello again, how to trust each other that we would make it. You were one of the few people who saw that behind the facade of protest and disobedience there is a vulnerable young soul, unsure of himself. You saw the innate childlike curiosity and leadership ambitions behind the reckless antics. You know how to bring out the best in children, you teach them to love and accept themselves and others. The beanbag is the only place where I have been at peace that the child was looked after with love and understanding, without being labeled and beaten. There, I witnessed such intelligent and reasoned conversations between three-year-olds that I have not participated in with many adults. And today, Gerry, we are again on the threshold of a new challenge and we are together again.

“In 2019, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education at Thrace University. I was excited about issues such as the social role of man in society, what is happening in our modern society, how to take care of children’s personality building? I had many questions to which I was looking for an answer… At the university, Dr. Markova taught me “Pedagogy of deviant behavior” and “Special pedagogy”. I had only read about her and was really fascinated by her lectures, radiance, energy, enthusiasm. It was something different. Dr. Markova is a supporter of a holistic approach to child development, in which a complex of early childhood development methodologies is used for the best effect. Together with the authors, the main mission is to change the stereotypes and stereotypes that create problems in the upbringing, care and above all, the care of our children. Dr. Markova and the professionals from “Bobche Topche” stimulate and nurture the emotional intelligence, spontaneity and creativity of children. They help them to absorb emotional experiences, to understand and reconsider their interactions with others, to imagine and experience different behaviors.
